Valley Junction history tour confirmed

valley jundtionWe have scheduled an interpretive tour of Valley Junction for Friday, April 27, 2012 at 1 p.m.  Registration details will be coming. Activities include a video, scavenger hunt, and walking tour — see the buildings as they once were and how they are now as you learn about West Des Moines.

Crime Lab

westemeyer tourSgt. Westmeyer gave an informative tour of Des Moines Police Department’s Crime Lab today. For those of you who could not attend, the hallway on that floor contains the Des Moines Police Museum. The museum is open to the public Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Lab is also available anyone wanting to get fingerprints taken during the same hours.
