World Food Prize
Tour the World Food Prize Building. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 12 noon. One hour in Des Moines. All ages. Cap of 20 people. Free admission; no free parking on-site. THIS TRIP IS FULL. Public tours occur every week if your family would like to visit on its own.

A century old building, built right next to the Des Moines River, was recently renovated with LEED certification. Stained glass windows, paintings, and statues celebrating the World Food Prize, its founders and past laureates, and the challenges and opportunities of combating world hunger will be seen.
